Some flood defences that have cost lots and lots of money have been found to be faulty. The public are being punished all because of faulty equipment.

Who built the defences? The company should be taken to court, too often they get away with not fulfilling their contracts and either do not get punished or the punishment is lower than the profit they made.0

Hi @Jimm_Scope , I'm not sure who built them . I only caught a little bit of something on my local news but there was a gentleman who the news reader was talking to and he was something to do with the defences and he said they had found a failure on something on the flood defences. Something they need to look into . Sorry this is vague Jimm .0

I wonder if part of it is because I am guessing they go with whoever will do it for the lowest bid?
It's like (on a massive scale) getting tradespeople in to build you a bathroom, if you automatically go with the cheapest quote you will find out there was a reason it was cheapest1 -
