What questions should I ask the spinal team about spondylosis and spinal stenosis?

Hi I have recently learned that I have severe spondylosis the mri mentions spinal stenosis both in neck and lumbar 
I have a telephone appointment with the spinal team this week but not sure what questions I should be asking

    Hi @scooby15 - & welcome to the community. Any questions should be those that are of importance to you. Perhaps you might need an explanation as to what this condition means, & what is the likely prognosis in your case. I'd also ask if initially physiotherapy may help (it often can), or is there anything else they can suggest. If you're in pain, then you might want to ask about any appropriate medication.
    Try & jot down beforehand what's important to you, so you can refer to it; anything at all you want to know. Kindly let us all know how you get on.

    Thankyou Thankyou for replying
    my MRI report suggests compression of spinal cord and myelopathy as well as other issues classed as multilevel degeneration 
    I hope that at this stage they will suggest conservative treatment as I really don’t want surgery
