What are your comfort TV shows?

Oooh, good classic shows! Anyone got any other comfort TV shows they would like to share with us?
I am finding this a fascinating thread. I would be intrigued about other people's comfort TV shows if anyone else wishes to share0 -
Mortimer and Whitehouse Gone Fishing. I don't like fishing but the photography, their silliness and Ted the dog make this a great comfort watch. 5 series on iPlayer!0

I've heard it's good @AlexW_Scope!0

Though I don't think I'm up to date

Nice one @Tori_Scope . Hope you get to catch up on the Vera episodes.1

I find I laugh out loud at Mrs Browns Boys.
It destresses me. Wonderful.1 -
I can always return to watching Blackadder. Or The Thick of It, though that one perhaps hasn't aged quite so well.2

Foyle's war and Dad's army dvd collection used alot.0

Foyles War was and is excellent. My comfort TV is 'Only Murders in the Building' (Disney +) and Bake Off

Would be Little House on the Prairie if it was repeated.Normally it's something medical or Outback Opal Hunters & Aussie Gold Hunters.1

If I just want something that makes me go "awww" but also laugh, I'll often watch Schitts creek, or The Office (USA)
Though I still find Band of Brothers oddly comforting, as I always took my DVD set with me when I'd visit dad overseas and we'd watch it together.1 -
Gilmore Girls and Grey's Anatomy are mine! Couldn't tell you how many times I've re-watched the earlier series of those two. And I do love a bit of Four in a Bed or something trashy like Say Yes to the Dress if I'm feeling extra delicate and just want easy watching.1
-
I feel a little strange at mine being "comfort" but; Criminal Minds, Bones, NCIS, and serial killer documentaries in general2
-
Frazier. I also like a good long series to dip in and out of. The Good Wife was one. It has a story thread running through but each episode has a different legal case so can be watched as a stand alone. Only problem is Ive finished it now.....0
-
Top of my relaxing list is The great pottery throw down. Also Christmas movies at this time of year…I watch them when I’m writing cards etc…Would never do it otherwise.
