Hey everyone, I have been building myself up for weeks for my PIP assessment that was meant to happen this morning at 9am. I was awake the whole night because I was so worried about it. I had everything ready by 8.30.. 9am came and went, 9.15 came and went, 9.30 came and went and then the phone rang.. only to he told the Assessor wasn't available now and to reschedule for two weeks time.
I'm absolutely devastated to say the least I could just cry 🥺.

That's very unfortunate! These things do happen and sometimes an assessor will be off sick and they have no replacement to comeplete the assessment so they have no other option but to cancel. The good thing is that at least you weren't on your way to an assessment centre, this has happened to me a couple of times.Hopefully the next one will go ahead as planned.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Sorry this happened to you @luna_moon12, it's so upsetting when you've built yourself up to going through something and it all just gets cancelled.
Do you have any supportive friends and family around that you could talk through your frustrations with?
Fingers crossed your next appointment goes through okay!Rosie (she/her)
