Hi Chris/ @Kim_AssistiveTech
I have right sided Hemiplegia and have now developed RSI in my left hand/arm.
I have started using Dragon Naturally Speaking software, but this has not yet eliminated the mouse function for me. I obviously could do with some further training. Can you recommend any companies that offer training on Dragon Naturally Speaking software that I could recommend to my employer?
Also could you offer any further suggestions on any gadgets to minimise arm use @ a computer?
Many thanks for your help
Best wishes

Hi Stayce,
I haven't personally used any training services but do know of a few. Have you had a look at the instructional videos on the Nuance website?
Are they of any use? If not let me know and I will ask around to see if any of my fellow AT's have had any experience with the trainers I know of.

Hello Stayce,
Dragon does require some perseverance, but with practice you should be able to perform all mouse functions with it.
With regard to trainers - where in the country are you based?

Thanks Kim & Fil for your responses. You are right Dragon does require some perseverance :-)
I am based in UK - London. I used to do some work for Scope, so after posting this I got in touch and found out the training company they use for employees that need to use DNS. I have been recommended Hands free computing by Scope and have my first training session at work next Tuesday. Will write a post on my experiences as it may prove helpful to others
