@Teigr
Oh Christmas cake is so nice rich but I really like it, don’t tire yourself out with the housework.
@66Mustang
Its good to sometimes have a day at home, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the cheese with a little drink off something over Christmas 😀
It’s dry here today well so far anyway lol so I will get out my walk, then I’m having a day in also.

Morning everyone
Did anyone get up to much over the weekend?
1 -
@Hannah_Scope we put our Christmas decorations up.
What about you??

Aww lovely! We have had a bit of an issue with ours again this year but got some up too! Went and shopped in Solihull over the weekend. So lovely there. And had my cousins' children round on the Saturday so was lovely to spend some time with them1
-
That sounds like a nice weekend
I enjoy going shopping but I always think "I can get that cheaper online", which I think is kind of sad, but I can't really afford to pay more for exactly the same item, and if I could I would rather give the money to someone in need.
I think that's maybe why craft fairs and things are becoming quite common, as they sell stuff that you often can't find online?0 -
Morning all
Dry and sunny here too1 -
@66Mustang
Oh no there’s no countryside around here I wish there was,I just walk round the streets and there’s a big park nearby so go in there a lot and go round there as it’s nicer scenery.
@Teigr
Ih good you’ll be able to get your washing out and dried.

It's like the middle of spring.2

@66Mustang It was lovely, there was a really nice Christmas shop there. Found a family of Christmas Moose
I wasn't allowed to buy them
I can also find that some items can be more expensive. But when I've paid to be out, I sometimes justify that extra cost as well I won't be paying delivery. I also bought two more books, but ssssh on that as I wasn't supposed to!0 -
@Lou67 oh park sounds nice, I hope you enjoy the walk
We are lucky because we do live in a town but the countryside is not too far away
@Hannah_Scope that's a shame you couldn't buy the moose/mooses(??) but I guess it is easy to go over the top with Christmas stuff2 -
@66Mustang I think it was more because the dog would have claimed them as hers!1
-
Oh I know the feeling of that happening
Our dog opened a Christmas present yesterday that funnily enough was meant for someone else's dog, it was a squeaky toy and he started playing with it0
