There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time starting from when you first reported your health condition/provided your first fit note. The extra money is then paid from the 4th month, with first payment being the end of that month. The LCWRA element isn't paid at all during the waiting period.

Your waiting period will be Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov.... LCWRA starts from 11th Nov to 10th Dec and first payment is 17th Dec. No LCWRA element is owed.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
