Good morning, I’m just after a bit of help please regarding carers allowance. So I claim it for my disabled son but I’m also disabled and I was wondering if my daughter can claim it for me. Thank you

Your daughter maybe able to claim it for caring for you if you receive a qualifying disability benefit yourself, such as PIP daily living, DLA mid/high rate care or ADP daily living. She must also look after you for at least 35 hours per week and not earn more than £139/week.However, if you’re claiming a severe disability premium in another benefit then her claiming carers allowance for you will stop the SDP.You can see the full criteria here https://www.gov.uk/carers-allowance/eligibility0
