After reading quite a few messages about exercise, I'm drawn to either open water swimming (embrace the cold - health benefits are amazing, so studies say) or staying on top of the water, known as either paddle boarding, canoeing, or kayaking. You can see on Outlearn where the clubs or experiences are close to you.

I've always liked doing an activity that doesn't require you having to perform countless trips to the gym. -
Swimming is my favourite activity to do at the moment. I find it very therapeutic for my anxiety/fatigue issues, nothing else really touches it. It feels like a visit to a wonderful therapist and is very cheap too - I get a swimming pass and it works out at around £3.50 per swim, which I think is really good value. I would like to go more often but don't always have the transport. Yes, @JoeBogumsky, I think wild swimming is better than anything, have recently found a lido to visit, not very close but will definitely go in the summer. Have you identified a place to go? Would like to try paddle boarding as well, being on and around water really is healing... :-)

I have identified a place to swim closed to where I live and that place also has a good cafe with it. Just to wild swim, I checked it out and saw that they had smashed a section of ice and people were just swimming about ....... They are so much stronger than I am mentally, as I can't get into those icy temperatures and will have to wait until later on in the year. Still nice to go for a cup of tea and a bit of cake and gaze over the water......🤓👍
