Tories have scrapped disability minister role

following on from other posts, it's now confirmed that the tories have scrapped the minister for disabled people role.

this is no huge loss in practise. if anything it's better. after all, they're now being honest about their actual beliefs rather than having someone in the role who pretends to care.

    So it would appear the disabilities role will be taken on by another minister.  So responsibilities will be merged into their remit.  

    This feels like a huge step backwards.

    At least they’ve made it clear how much they don’t care about disabled people

    Perhaps it's a good thing if it gets into main stream media and read by average people ... they need a minister of being clowns (probably a large interest from all of them in that post)

    Why am I not surprised?  I hope, when the campaigning for the upcoming election starts, the Tories don't try to claim that they care about people.
