    There used to be a very handy pull out shelf under there but the carpenter had to remove it when I had the panelling replaced in 2021.

    I hope Mr Teigr doesn't do any damage.

    Been entertaining kids @ada some very interesting conversation topics over dinner. Lol  its nice to sit together at the table and engage in talking. I remove any device that causes distraction.

    It's nice that someone has faith in him @Jimm_Scope.

    He's just found my wellies,so his under stairs adventures won't have been a complete waste of time even if the shelf doesn't work out.

    Hi everyone I hope yous are all doing well.
    I’m just back from my mums had a lovely visit and my brother was visiting so was great to see him too.
    My daughter popped in which I was so happy about as she drove me home, it’s turned freezing again.

    Hiya my friend I’m not to bad Ada a bit sore but the cold doesn’t help.
     I missed taking my painkillers earlier as I was out so going to take them now, before I have my dinner.

    I've ordered the sofas @Lou67 and paid a deposit,it'll be almost three months before they're delivered though.

    I could've completed an upholstery course and made them myself by then but whatever.

    Dark blue @ Ada,one three seater and one two seater.I'm not bothering with a footstool this time because it's just somewhere for the dog to sit and bark her head off at passersby.

    Its meant to get even colder up here this week. I will be staying in if it is because I don’t want to be catching a cold or anything before my op next week.

    Sounds kind of like me when I'm trying to do a task.

    I start off with the original task, while doing it I find something, that then distracts me, I then do a secondary task and while doing that I find something else to do.

    At the end of the day I've done 4-5 tasks and none of them are the original task I set out to do.

    That's kind of how I work to be honest @Jimm_Scope,I go upstairs to clean the bathroom and end up making the beds,washing the landing floor and sweeping the stairs instead.
