Daughter dropping out college early due to mental health

Hi all
new to this
my disabled daughter has decided to drop out collage due to mental health issues
she 19 and we claim child tax credits she gets disability element and child benefit,we do pay this into her own bank account
what happens to CTC and child benefit will this stop right away ?

You will need to report the changes to Tax credits and Child benefit and both will then end.

She will then be able to claim claim Universal Credit in her own right. She needs to make sure she reports her health condition, supported by a fit note within 7 days of that. This will then prompt them the refer her for a work capability assessment, usually from day 29 but can be longer.

You will also need to report the changes to your local Authority if you’re claiming either council tax reduction and/housing benefit.
