Hi just rang pip and the automated line is saying I’m due my first payment on the 1st may for 723.95. Is there a reason why they saying so long and also I have not received a notification that I have been awarded pip but I put the claim in late September 2023. I just don’t understand why the automated line is saying payment

The automated payment line is well known for giving incorrect information. As it’s saying your first payment is more than 2 months away then clearly that can’t be correct. You will need to wait for the decision to be made which can take up to 12 weeks after the report was returned.1
