Hi @tammys247, you can find a helpful question-by-question guide to filling in your PIP claim form on the Citizens Advice website. Your nearest Citizens Advice Bureau should also be able to provide you with assistance and guidance on filling out the form.
Check Scope’s Service Directory to see if there is a local information and advice service which can assist you with the form-filling. Hope this helps.

tammy, you can phone and ask the DWP for extra time to fill in the forms, because you have to get help to do so, if you need it. They'll give you two extra weeks.

Thank you i will do that

@tammays247, welcome to the cumunity. The benefit DLA has a different scoring criteria than PIP which focuses on your ability to look after your selve doing daily living activities. As you see from the questions on the form, you are asked can you do this or that ? And you answer yes or no if no you have a chance to explain why and what difficulties you encounter trying to do the activities being asked in each question. Try the self test on http://www.mybenefitsandwork.co.uk/pip/indexxx.php
this will give you a good idea about you chances of getting an award, please be honest if you do the self test as when you have your face to face accessment you will have to justify your answers you put in the application form. Good luck and keep posting update if you feel up to it.
