Hi @Joanne1988, you can find a very helpful question-by-question guide to filling in your PIP claim form on the Citizens Advice website. Your nearest Citizens Advice Bureau should also be able to provide you with assistance and guidance on filling out the form.
Check Scope’s Service Directory to see if there is a local information and advice service which can assist you with the form-filling. If you have any more questions you'd like to ask on here you might like to try our 'Ask a benefits adviser' section. Hope that helps.

Hi Joanne, sorry to hear that, the helpline can get quite busy at times. I've moved this query to the Scope helpline page so that they can contact you on here, and I'm sure @DebbieVoakes will be able to assist.

Joanne, you could also look at Disability Rights guide to PIP on their website. They give a list of descriptors with the points next to them and a draft diary that you could adapt. DR say that if you can't complete a task you get points. They used also to say that if you use aids you get points. I've a feeling that not as much weight is given to use of aids as was the case at first but still some weight is given, so include all the aids you use.
Under getting around don't tick 'it varies' unless none of the descriptors apply at least 50 per cent of the time. -
Thanks for your help
