I'm a little confused as to how much I am entitled to when it comes to housing benefit if someone could tell me what I'm entitled to that would be great, as I'm moving into a 1 bed flat soon.
The benefits I get are LCFW, universal credit and pip.
I can't message on the journal as I don't get a reply lol.

As you're claiming UC then help with any rent will be paid through this known as housing element.
Housing benefit is a completely different benefit, new claims can't be made for working age people unless they are living in either supported or temporary housing.
If you're privately renting then your housing element will be based on the Local Housing Allowance rate for the are you will be living. If you're single and under 35 and your PIP includes the daily living part then you'll be entitled to the 1 bedroom rate of LHA. You can see the rates here. https://lha-direct.voa.gov.uk/
If it doesn't include the daily living part then you'll be entitled to the shared rate. Please make sure you drop the box down to the rate you're entitled to.
If you're 35 and over then you'll be entitled to the 1 bedroom rate regardless of a PIP award.
You will need proof of liability to pay rent such as a tenancy agreement.
*Please note* when looking at the LHA rates they will be a weekly figure so you will need to work out the monthly figure. To do this you times the weekly rate by 52 and then divide by 12.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
