Obviously
Been waiting for over a year for that1 -
Well done, it took me 3, 1st I've got for ages, got the wordle in 4.1
-
Thought of you, @66Mustang, when the car pic popped up & got it in 1!Wordle 4 & Quordle in 3, 5, 7 & 6. Not a bad day.1
-
Cardle is faulty again today. Looks like a typo in the name, probably need to use a triple SSS to get it through.0
-
@OverlyAnxious thanks for the clue, I was stuck on the first picture but knew I knew it so refused to skip, got it in 1 lol1
-
Car in 1, love that, fantastic car and good value (relatively speaking), was driven around the track at Lotus factory by their test driver who showed what it is capable of!!0
-
Didn't have clue, but i'd love to take one for spin round the track, didn't they let you have a drive?0
-
@Wilshyboy I did get a drive but was quite nervous so didn't push the car, far from it, but it is beautiful to drive, really basic but I think that just adds to the appeal as you can sense everything doing its job if that makes sense

Sorry if I've asked this before, or if anyone else has talked about it on here, but do any of you play Semantle? I'm a bit obsessed0
-
@66Mustang, You lucky man, I,d have given it a bit of wellie, I don't drive anymore but when i did my brother used to sit beside me holding on for dear life, I had a 4litre Mk1 Jeep Cherokee and that isn't made to go slow, the one motor i would love to drive is a Mk2 Jaguar my favourite car of all.0
-
@Wilshyboy the Jeep sounds awesome! It's a shame they don't tend to put decent sized engines in cars anymore. You can get a 1.0 litre Jeep now which to me is wrong. I like the look of the Mark 2 Jaguar as well, beautiful car.0
-
@Tori_Scope I had not heard of that game but will be taking a look0
-
@66Mustang, It's fearsome looking beast, apparently bank robbers in the 60s preferred the 3.4 over the 3.8 as it had better acceleration for getting away.0
-
That's interesting @Wilshyboy
I guess it is progress. I think the same is true with the new Lotus Emira, you can have a turbocharged 2L 4cyl or a 3L V6, the V6 costs more but the 4 is very slightly quicker, like 0.2 sec less to 60, and obviously lighter. I think the bigger engine is just for people that like the old fashioned characteristics.0 -
@66Mustang, I'm more into the older British motors, give me a MK2 Jaguar, or a Frogeye Sprite or any of the Triumph TR range, my first car was a 1964 Austin Mini with the starter button on the floor by the handbrake and the dogleg( i'm sure there's a gear here somewhere) Gearstick as it was very sloppy, wonderful days never to be repeated, unfortunately.0
-
@66Mustang it's based on the meaning of the word- it's fun! But also hard haha. The website explains more about how to play it0
