Mainstream Vs SEN - advice needed

Hello, my daughter is 6, soon to be 7 and is currently at mainstream school with an ECHP in place and receives 1:1 support for morning sessions, with some intervention in the afternoon. She has KDVS which results in moderate LD. School are trying their best to support but I am concerned she doesn't receive the specialist support she needs. Been to look at a SEN school today which was lovely and has full time SALT/ OT/ adapted curriculum etc. My main concern is that my daughter doesn't present with complex needs, she just seems to be on the cusp of needing more intensive support... struggling with the decision to move or remain in mainstream. Any advice from parents with children who have similar needs would be appreciated.

Hi @rrimmer83, I'm afraid I don't have any direct experience of this but I just wanted to pop in to say hello and welcome you to the community. I hope our lovely members can offer some advice about your daughter's schooling soon
