Hi, I've been told to attend a phone assessment as their was some conflicting info in my medical evidence.

Also the hcp told me that I didn't ask permission for them to contact my treating medical doctor, only giving permission to contact the dr who completed my supporting medical report privately who isnt my regular doctor.

I was wondering if the hcp is able to contact that dr for more info or does it have to be your treating medical doctor?

Thanks

They can contact anyone for any evidence, though it's rare for them to do this.

Hi @lydia5683, your GP should be able to see medical notes too I imagine? They should be able to contact anyone, and I don't see why you can't call up and give consent if you would like?
