    No, they haven't confirmed anything. As advised on your other thread, there's been many many threads here regarding this. Best thing to do with those newspaper articles is to stop reading them...

    I cannot find those dates or any update on the DWP website. So, I would say this is a clickbait article. I hope it hasn't caused you too much worry @unclebob

    The reason they make it up is this.
     These websites get paid depending how many people click on the story so they deliberately make false headlines so that people click on the article and read it.
    It's false information that you are reading and I advise you to stop reading anything on the website that is giving you false information and causing you to be worried about something that hasn't happened yet

    No not worried i have nothing to hide. But i don't think it's right that they can just get access to your bank.
