Hi, my son has cerebral palsy.
He is unable to move much and has very stiff muscles he is unable to sit up, walk, talk, feed himself and cannot see but can hear what's going on around him and recognises peoples voices. He is generally happy. He also still enjoys toddlers TV and he is now in his mid twenties.
I was wondering what his life expectancy may be with such severe disabilities

Hi @ieds123 I'm sure some of our community members will be along soon to share their experiences, but in the meantime you might like to take a look at our information pages on cerebral palsy.

Hi There
Scope produces some information o the effects of ageing and cp which might help answer some of your questions:
http://http//www.scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/old-age/cp
Scope also has Information and Advice Workers around the country who also might be able to help you out with some information here. If you contact our helpline ask if you could be out in touch with one.
I hope this helps.
