ESA and inheritance

My ESA was suspended 12 months ago after I informed them of my inheritance. I contacted them in November when my savings were at £9000. Since then I have sent 4 letters with no reply. My savings are dwindling rapidly. Can't get through to them on phone. Don't know what to do?

The best time to ring them is as soon as they open at 8am. You have to be persistent and keep trying. I rang them a few weeks ago to change my address and got through within about 20 minutes.0

Hi @Reedy and welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear they've not been replying to you. But I agree with Poppy, the best time to call them is when the lines first open in the mornings and you just have to hang on the line until you're connected to someone.0
