Heya @artist and a big ole welcome from me too.
As others have said, we're all here to help, so ask away!0 -
My question is about housing benefit, I'm retired now and receive disability. I live with my Son and my carer.
Housing benefit have asked now for proof of my finances, bank statements, 3 times and asked for payslips from my son and my carer. This is over a period of around 3/4 years. When I queried it 2 years ago they said that this time was a review. Can they keep doing this please?0 -
Hello @artist and a warm welcome to the community.
It's my understanding that local councils are required to review a number of housing benefit cases every 12 months. I don't know which council you are with but Bromley council explain it as a DWP intiative which started in 2020.

Thankyou all for the welcome, thankyou Adrian_Scope for the information. Yes that's about when it started, 2020, maybe they haven't got many housing benefit customers so the have to do me every year. The problem I have is that it effects my mental health, causing me ongoing problems.
But I suppose that's life eh!
Thankyou all again.0
