Hi on the benefits and work forum someone said that only for pip you can appeal the length of your award not for esa or wca assessments
If this is true what is the reason?
Thanks

Yes lcwra got medium term award
I was just curious if you generally could appeal thr length but dont wish to for my award0 -
That mostly only applies to PIP. For ESA Support Group it's an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise. If they've given you a timescale because you've asked then this will just be a guide.
There's a group called severe conditions but for this there's very specific criteria and not everyone qualifies. If placed into this group there will be no further reviews.1 -

Medium term refers to the guideline length of time before re assessment.
This is only ever a guide and not necessarily the date a claim will be re assessed, re assessments have been suspended for a number of years now so when they start up again there will be backlogs.0
