Hi, Wonder if SCOPE or another/other like charity’s could set up a National Disability Card to help those of us with a cognitive/neurological disability and of course all of us disabled.
I find it quite frustrating that yet again companies are penalising us (by charging us for a card) to access benefits/offers from it), when there are several charities that could surely help us by doing it if they really wanted to help? Thoughts?

That's an interesting thought @STUMPS62, it would be very useful to a lot of people. I agree that it's frustrating to have to pay for an ID card to access certain things, just seems like yet another thing that some disabled people have to pay extra for to get by.
I'm not sure what the logistics would be like or whether it would be possible for Scope to offer such a card, but I can certainly pass the idea on.
Welcome to the community by the way, I hope you'll find it usefulRosie (she/her)

Well I’m sure it would be greatly appreciated by all of us that are disabled.
Surely it’s worth proposing even with the potential logistical situation, you won’t know until you try 😉
If it was done collectively, it could be made a lot easier (rather than one charity taking it on), although one is better than none.
