Has anyone applied for PIP because of their arthritis condition?

Hi @Mol
I have had a search on community discussions around this and you might find this useful
https://community.scope.org.uk/discussion/30183/is-it-possible-to-claim-pip-and-continue-to-work
PIP is essentially for additional costs incurred as a direct result of having a disability so certainly may be worth looking into further
@tinkerbell66
How did you get on with this? Can you offer any advice to @Mol?
Hope this helps
Best wishes -
Hi mol. I suffer with osteoarthritis and I applied for pip, got refused twice but third time lucky......Got it,. I get the daily living and mobility components,I had an assessment done at home. Hope this helps you.

Mol -it is not the condition itself that gets you PIP - it's how the condition affects your ability to carry out certain essential daily tasks and to walk outdoors.
Read the Disability Rights and CAB PIP information. -
