How much time does it take after being accepted for IIDB to get a medical assessment and can I have that assessment by telephone due to disability and my condition?

We have very little threads regarding IIDB so there's no information from anyone to be able to give timescales i'm afraid. Unless someone that's been through the process recently and sees this. For the telephone assessment, all you can do is ask.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Subsequently it took a further 7 face to face assessments over the next 15 years for it to be made 'for life'.

Thank you for your helpful information

Industrial injuries disablement benefit isn't well known like other benefits. Not publicised even in job centres. Perhaps a DWP money saving ploy.

Well I am stuck between tribunals as more evidence was required from the Dwp. This is to find out if I do or don't qualify for iidb how long when your first tribunal is adjourned until the second tribunal? So far it's been 3.5 months and I've been with listings for 2 months. Still no date.

There are no timescales. It depends on each individual case.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Well Judge today found me I do qualify to be able to claim industrial injuries Disablement benefit. Apparently by forming a limited company 3 weeks before my accident and therefore being an employee and director my travelling accident was as an employed earner. How long to the medical assessment now?
