How do I claim Higher Rate Care DLA for a child who is already receiving Middle Rate Care?

My child has been getting Middle Rate Care DLA for a few years due to ASD. They are now being investigated for Crohns Disease which has meant a lot of hospital appointments, invasive investigations plus they are in constant pain and anaemic/weight loss. This has meant a much larger care load for me plus dealing with hightened anxiety which has made their ASD much worse and they are spending a lot more time calming them and dealing with more physical issues (diet change, medication etc) plus more mental issues.
I want to apply for the Higher Rate Care but I am not sure how to go about this. Can anyone advise?

For this they would need to have day and night time care needs https://www.carersuk.org/help-and-advice/financial-support/benefits-if-you-are-disabled-ill-or-injured/disability-living-allowance/
You would need to ring to report changes and you will be sent a form to fill in and return.1 -
Hey just wanted to welcome you to the community,I also have Autism and Crohns Disease, Crohn's disease isn't nice and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy so I wish you and your child all the best. If you have any questions or anything feel free to ask.Take care.1
