in Universal Credit (UC)
Hello all, I've been diagnosed with major PTSD and anxiety and depression for several years. So I received my UC50 in the post the other day and filled it out yesterday and sent it back. So, I had a mental breakdown last year and destroyed my home, subsequently being arrested and charged for criminal damage, I have missed appointments regarding probation, so they breached me. 

I ACCIDENTLY SENT THE BREACH LETTER INSTEAD OF MY MEDICAL PRINT OUT. :(

My question is, will this affect their decision or will they just request the print out from me/my gp and disregard the breach letter?

    Hello @Grul and welcome to the community. 

    Could you send your medical evidence along separately now? Just be sure to include your full name and National Insurance number along with it so it can be linked to your claim.

    Would sending my form separately still work? 

    And my main worry is that the letter states I've breached and have to attend court, @Adrian_Scope will the fact that I have to attend court/that I'm on probation affect their decision making?

    If anyone else has any idea, I'd really appreciate it because I'm screwing here thinking that breach letter will jeopardize my chance at being awarded this.

    I can't see it affecting it in a bad way, why do you think that? The WCA assesses your ability to do any type of work. It's about the work you can do and not the work you can't do.

    I'm really not sure why I'm thinking this, I tend to over thinking a lot. A lot of people are saying it'll be fine and just send the medical form in seperstely, if anything it will bsck my claim up as it's a breach for missing appointments, which I stated in my uc50.

    Being on probation won't work against you @Grul, so try not to worry. Send in your other evidence and be sure to include your NI number and details so they can link it to your claim.
