Hi there I'm a case manager for a family in Barnet London who have a six year old boy with cerebral palsy. They have booked him in to a three week therapy programme in Oxfordshire at the end of March and want to drive there and back each day. They have a mobility car but I am looking for a driver for them who could help them out. Ideally a female driver.
If anyone has any links to someone who could do this for us I'd love to hear from you
many thanks
Sara

Why are you sexually discriminating? It's a boy so why a female driver?

Hi @sarawarr
Welcome to the community.
There must be someone out there who can help.
Have you tried Volunteering Barnet? Perhaps they could point you in the right direction: http://www.volunteeringbarnet.org.uk/
Gumtree also has a board for volunteers:
https://www.gumtree.com/volunteer-charity-work-jobs
Also - I'd look for active Facebook groups for the area. I had a quick search and found a few -

You just need to be careful not to break any of the rules.
Hope that helps! -
Thank you both for your replies. David I am addressing cultural wishes more than anything but am conscious this may seem like discrimination. there is no intention of that.
Alex, I have taken your lead on Barnet volunteering and am awaiting a call back from them. I am most grateful.

It's discrimination.

Hi Sara, My partner Sam is the keeper of his nephews mobility car. Do you need a driver only or the car as well. He might be able to help using his nephews car subject to ok-ing it with his case manager. We based in London. Can you give a little more info about what the journey is..i.e. from where to and to where from and dates and times.
All the best Amy Dadarria -
Hi @dadarria, I've removed the phone number you posted as this is a community policy, but if you'd like me to I can email your number to Sara?
