I need to purchase a wheelchair hoist for our car,  We live in Norflok - the cheapest we have found id 1,700 anyone have any ideas please?

    I'm not 100% on places to go for wheelchair hoists, but I'll just pop your discussion over into the Aids and adaptations category, so more people in the know will be able to see it and hopefully offer you some pointers. I hope that's ok?

    It is expensive to get a hoist put in a  car. You need to also consider maintainance because when it goes wrong you can be stranded. Do you get PIP if so have you considered a motability car. I get a new hoist put in my car when my new motabilty car gets delivered.
