Grants for specific wheelchair
Hi! I'm disabled and an electric wheelchair would change my life. I can't get a manual from the nhs because I am unable to self-propel, and also don't qualify for an electric chair as my home isn't accessible so it won't be used in the house. I'm currently looking for a grant for £3000 because there's a specific chair that I'm interested in, it can be used as a rollator and the freedom to keep fit by walking but having a chair on hand would be life changing for me. Does anyone know of any grants that would work for me? Thanks in advance!

Surely - you can simply ask for a Personal Healthcare Budget and spend YOUR own budget on a chair of your choice ?

Hey @lunaace, I know it's been a few months, but I was wondering how you got on? I'm sorry that we weren't able to answer your question on possible grants for you. Did you manage to find anything that could help you at all?
