Microsoft do not have any way to contact them other than phone - when trying to activate a version of Office that does not appear in my MS account and has been moved between PC's............
I am unable to speak on the phone
I have had an online chat with "MS support" who told me to ask a friend to phone for me - this is NOT good enough and needs reporting to someone... Who ?
Why could MS support not have activated the software for me ?

That's not good at all @Wibbles

Do you use Twitter? That's the only other text-based option I've found so far, but I'll keep looking to see if there's anywhere you could complain or report this to.

If MS support are not allowed/able to deal with software activation - twitter/facebook staff will definitely not be able to either
ps I am an ex-IT Pro - so know how these things work !!

Ah I see @Wibbles! Then I'm sure you're far more clued up than I am :)

Not a good service from Microsoft at all. I'll keep an eye out for an email address that you could contact.

they’ve got an accessibly page which may help. Microsoft do have specialist support for disabled but I don’t know what area this covers.

other option, you can get cheap license codes legitimately through a simple search for cheap Microsoft office licenses.

I had this exact issue, well mostly, with PayPal!!!

My account was locked after I needed to verify my identity with a text message, but this was sent to an old number that I had lost access to - my fault for not updating it, I accept

I went through all the loops but ultimately they all led to the only way to unlock my account which is to phone them up

I have managed without PayPal for 2 years since that happened now, but it's a bit of an inconvenience not being able to use it sometimes

Sorry to just post about my issue but just wanted to share a similar experience

I could use RELAY - But prefer not to use a 3rd party for personal things like this

It really surprised me that MS did not have the facility or ability to handle such a common problem

The problem with doing this is that you could be handing your bank account over to scammers
