I have a face to face meeting on the 14 feb and I am dreading it. I have COPD. EMPHYSEMA and BRONCHIECTASIS . Just wondering what happens

Citizens Advice have some good information on their website and an excellent advice sheet about the assessment which you can find here
I have attended a significant number of assessments and the best advice I can give is try to take someone with you who knows you well so you have some support. Also to make notes beforehand that you can take with you to help you to remember to tell the assessor everything about your health problems.

I agree with my colleague Paul that the Citizens Advice guide to the assessment is useful. It's good you will have your husband with you. I'd suggest he makes some notes during the assessment so that you remember what was asked & what you said (this is so you can compare your notes to the result if you do need to take any action afterwards).
The tip of making notes beforehand is good too - remember that PIP can take into account the effect of conditions which vary, so if you have some bad days, say so. Try to explain how often you have difficulties with certain activities, whether things take you longer than other people, when you need help, and whether you could do some things but have to have someone with you because certain activities might not be safe for your health.

Hi everyone I got my Pip today after 3weeks of worry I got enhanced payments on both mobility and living. It was even an upgrade on my living allowance so glad no more worries about PIP thanks all x
