Depends how far you can walk before you need to stop and rest. New claimants have to apply for Personal Independence Payment not DLA. Take a look at the PIP descriptors on the PIP advice sections in the Disability Rights and CAB websites.

You can fill in a self test for PIP to see if you would qualify but from personal experience I would doubt you would get anything for mild foot pain.
"Disability Living Allowance (DLA) is a tax-free benefit for disabled people who need help with mobility or care costs. Personal Independence Payment (PIP) helps with some of the extra costs caused by long-term ill-health or a disability if you’re aged 16 to 64."
How does your mild foot pain affect you day to day?

It's all about how far you can walk with the pain, not the pain itself.
