Hi everyone! 👋

After two years of anxiety and stress I had a successful Tribunal outcome on the 29/05/2024

I'm just wanting people's personal experience of how long it has taken DWP to sort the claim out.

I know they say 4-8 weeks but just wondering if people have actually had to wait the 8 weeks or if it's been sooner?

As you can appreciate having already waited 2 years I'm eager to finally be able to seek the support I need as quick as I can

    Regarding how long it takes to sort out the claim, in my experience it certainly can vary I'm afraid. Which is why 4-8 weeks is the timespan given due to that variance. I hope yours is sooner rather than later though

    The hate the vagueness of 4-8 weeks but I suppose it is what it is and I just have to be thankful of the result in my favour

    It would be impossible to give you an exact time frame for how long it will take. We say allow up to 8 weeks, some wait less and some longer.

    Thank you for your reply, I was hoping for other people's experience with the time frame. I know they give the 4-8 week time frame I rang and spoke to DWp this morning
