    Hi could would anyone know what a change of circumstances actually means. I have been recently diagnosed with a life changing illness. That was after my reassessment forms were submitted been getting texts every few weeks saying we are still progressing with your claim should I let them know of this diagnosis sorry I'm new to all this so don't even know if I'm posting in the right place thanks in advance.

    A diagnosis, is not a change of circumstances that needs to be reported. Unless you've been diagnosed with 12 months or less left to live and you don't already have Enhanced for both parts.

    You should only really report changes if it's possible to score more points for a higher award and a diagnosis doesn't automatically entitle you to more points.
