Pip tribunal won but still have to wait another 28 days for any action on payment, this will bring the whole process up to 1 year since they decided I was not eligible via a so called Atos specialist.
I wasn't even suppose to be up for review until December 2016 !!!!!!!!!

What a awful situation to be in, what are you expected to do in that time?

Have a nervous breakdown I think, I am looking at putting in a formal complaint to Atos about the so called health professional that decided I was not ill enough to get PIP even though I saw her 1 hour after a psychotherapist diagnosed me with SEVERE PTSD

I was first contacted by PIP August 2016 and I don't expect to get my tribunal hearing until June 2017!   I was awarded standard rate both elements but think I should get enhanced both elements.

Hi @jezza74 Well done !  I'm still at the MR stage but have complained to ATOS about my assessor. The whole process needs changing. It's not just ATOS assessors who are to blame, from my experience the Decision Makers at DWP are not using all the evidence available just the assessor's report to make the 1st offer. Mine looked like it had been copied word for word. So it's both ATOS and DWP that need a good shake up.

The ATOS advisor basically said I was well dressed and slightly over weight so I must be eating well and able to look after myself, I was brought up by a father who always said to give a good appearance when in public, I wish I had dressed like a homeless person now and maybe it wouldn't have gone this far!!!!

jezza74 How would you have felt if you thought you were well dressed for your assessment but after getting your assessment report the assessor had described you as "Scruffily Dressed"? No-one has considered the effect that might have on an already depressed/mentally ill person. They may not be able to deal with the feelings that might result from what is an insult. I've told ATOS in a complaint letter that the first negative comment written about someone breaks their Customer Charter "Treat people with respect". That's not the only  promise they break. The "Informal observations" box on the P4A should be scrapped as it is only the assessor's personal opinion. Maybe then they would stop watching everything you do, say or the way you behave. I also told ATOS how that makes you feel. Where else would anyone get away with criticising someone on a personal level? So why are they getting away with it.
