My friend started putting in sick notes for lcwra on the six of Feb 2024 she was awarded lcwra on the 18th of May she was just wondering if she was due any back payment she didn't have to have an assessment thank you

    First payment will be either June or July. The exact date will depend on what date she usually receives her money each month.

    There will be no LCWRA element owed because it's not paid at all during the waiting period, which is 3 full assessment periods from the date you provided your first fit note. It's then paid from the 4th month with first payment being the end of that month.

    She's received her first payment but no back pay they say no money due

    As we are already in June that does seem correct that first payment would be this month. Without knowing the answer to the question I asked it's not possible to advise. They are correct that no LCWRA element is owed.
