You can try asking your local Authority and they may have some extra funding to help with this. Otherwise, I'm not aware of any grants.

Hi @dawnbeck63, welcome to the community 😊 does the house have any flooring at all? You can ask your Local Authority like Poppy mentions and they may be able to help out. Otherwise I am also unaware of any specific grants. Though you could try a grant search site like Turn2Us.

That's a really interest tool, thanks Jimm. 🙂

Just tried it myself and found many grants from organisations that I wasn't aware of in my area.

I noted one seems be to national and specifically mentions carpets. Though they do say they can't help everyone, and the application needs to come from someone other than the claimant, such as the council or housing association. Still might be worth an ask.

I'm happy if posting that helps others too! Hopefully @dawnbeck63 can see about getting a grant from them if they request their council to make a referral on their behalf?

hi I don’t know if you can help me basically I’ve got mental health without me in the past with electric and stuff like that but I am really in need of a washing and carpet I give consent for you to come and but I need someone to reply ASAP as I am going into a mental hospital soon and they’re coming out this week sorry bored so I don’t know how long it takes you to get this or how long it takes you to sort out the grant. I don’t mind if I pick what I need and send you it by email then you can see the prices and you can get it for me.

    Hi,

Scope doesn't provide grants or an appliance delivery service.

You would need to have a look for local services in your area that offer these things.

Have you had a look at the Turn2Us website link in the post above?
