MSc Scholarship and Universal credit

Hi, i receive pip and uc. I would like to do an masters part time. I am disabled and on pip. I have two options and would like to know the impact on UC. Both are part time. I also receive the LWRCA component.
Option one - 12,500 masters with a 10,000 scholarship allied to the fees for two years (6,250 fees and 5000 scholarship per year)
Options two - 14,900 masters fees for 2 year course.
Thank you

Any student maintenance loan that's available to you will reduce your UC even if you decide not to take that loan. Students and UC is complicated and for this reason I'd advise you to speak to the Disabled Students Helpline.

thank you Poppy.
For postgraduate there is no maintaince loan. It is just one loan worth 12400 that includes both maintainence and fees. I know 30% -110 pm is calculated. I am unsure of how the scholarship for living costs or fees will impact. I have reached out to the organisation you have stated.

Student fees do not affect your UC.
