don’t know we to vote for in the election as I don’t understand what it’s about really I’m having trouble understanding

    It's difficult to understand yes, I'm not really into politics myself either, although I will be voting. Unfortunately, the scope team have said that discussions on influencing voting are not allowed. You can see the message at the top of the forum.

    Remaining politically neutral during General Election 2024


    Under guidance from the Electoral Commission and Charity Commission, it's important that Scope remains politically neutral during General Elections.

    While we understand that this period will see many passionate discussions and do not want to discourage open discussion, we cannot allow discussions which are purely intended to influence voting.

    As Poppy mentions, we must remain politically neutral.

    I would recommend reading up about your local candidates and checking out their parties manifestos.
