Hi, my name is Toby2007! Has anyone received PIP for being deaf in both ears?

I was able to get PIP thankfully - I had my audiologist letter and a statement from my spouse to say how they support me in certain circumstances- I also have other things that impact me which helped me score the points for basic rate PIP. Have you checked how you could potentially score? What do you do for work? Do you have children? I know anything conflicting / contradictory could impact your claim

my assessment was over the phone despite asking for a video assessment - they asked me a lot of what if scenarios and what a good day looks like and a bad day etc. you can still claim PIP as a carer. I think a statement from your mum on how she support you day to day could help the assessor better understand how your disability impacts you

yes I drive - no I don’t really have other devices. I work from home for the last 6 yrs so I’m typically just in one room for most part of my day.
