What’s your experience of growing older as a Black British person with a lifelong disability?

• Are you 30 years or older?
• Are you of Black or Black Mixed heritage?
• Do you have Down’s Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Usher Syndrome, Learning Disability, William’s Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Prader Willi Syndrome, Spina Bifida, or Visual or Hearing impairment you have lived with for most of your life(since birth or childhood)?

I’m Emily Oputa, a researcher at the University of Surrey. I am interested in the

experience of getting older for Black British people with a lifelong disability.

I would like to interview you and hear about your experience of getting older. 

Interviews should take no longer than 90 minutes.

Your views shared during the interview will help better understand what it means to be age well with a lifelong disability in Black people in the UK.
