It went from pouring rain here to sunny, back to blustery. Very odd weather!

I think we have rain forecast for this evening @Sandy_123,I've ordered Mr Teigr to crack on with cleaning the deck before it starts.

We haven't bought what we need to stain it yet @Sandy_123,we don't want to use the stuff we used last time because it's rubbish.

I hate using gloss paint @Sandy_123,our carpenter recommended one when he replaced parts of our staircase. It's okay, but not the miracle product he made it out to be and it's useless for painting anything outdoors.

Yeah,I always want something hard wearing and quick drying.

Low odour is a plus too.

I didn't think you could use chalk paint on wood only for up cycling @nicebrit

I'm going to buy a tester pot if they sell them. I don't like working with Gloss or satin, I'm not buying it yet, but I will do some research beforehand 😊

I used chalk type furniture paint on the attic stairs @Nicebrit and went over it with a matt varnish.

Hey everyone I hope yous are all having a nice night I just popped in to say hello.
I noticed yous are speaking about paint when my son in law done my painting last month he sd I was best to buy one he’d used a few times and because my paint work was really dirty due to the carryon with the loft.
It can be used on the walls ceilings and woodwork. It done an amazing job.
