could any 1 help with any information as to this, explains if I’m awarded backdated pay and as to when my pay starts. Thanks

I'd like to apologize for the delay in somebody getting back to you. 

Your LCWRA start date is 04/04/2024, and there is a 3 full assessment period (not including the one it was awarded in) waiting period. 

Assessment period: 26 March to 25 April 2024 (awarded)

1. Assessment period: 26 April to 25 May 2024

2. Assessment period: 26 May to 25 June 2024

3. Assessment period: 26 June to 25 July 2024

Paid- Assessment period: 26 July to 25 August 2024 (02/09/2024).

    What date exactly did you provide you first fit note?

    Did you continue to send fit notes without gaps until a decision was made?

    4th of April was my 1st submitted sick note continuing every 4weeks up until 12 of June when the stated i don’t need to provide no longer

    Then you have been advised correctly and your first payment is 2nd September. No LCWRA element is owed.

    not sure still about that as I’ve been told so many things and also that I will receive backdate for the part where it states march to April awarded

    I was only told Friday from the 4th person from dwp that I will receive August.. so many dates I’ve been told

    You provided your first fit note on 2nd April, which is in the middle of assessment period 26th March to 25th April, which doesn’t count because it has to be 3 FULL assessment periods. It’s then paid from the 4th month, with first payment being the end of that month because UC is paid 1 month in arrears.

    For this reason your waiting period is April/May, May/June, June/July… LCWRA starts from assessment period 26th July to 25th August and first payment is 2nd September. No LCWRA element is owed.

    You’re welcome to look through threads on here where you will see the advice I’ve given is very consistent throughout hundreds of threads.

    well I’m not sure as I’ve be awarded march to April pay their just not willing to back date the rest.. so I’m not sure why your saying I’m not owed as it states on the attachment I posted.

    That's because the LCWRA award starts from when you provided your first fit note. Then you have to wait for the relevant period to end, which is the waiting period of 3 FULL assessment periods, as I explained above.

    You provided your first fit note in the middle of that assessment period March/April which doesn't count towards the waiting period.
