@Lou67 Thanks for booking the snow 😉 That's so lovely that you had them all around you. It's such a special moment and it's wonderful you could all share it together. I think you're a similar age to my mum as I am to your daughter 😊

Good morning I hope your good. Oh my mum and dad weren’t in with me when she was born it was supposed to be my mum and husband but I got an emergency C-section and they only let one person in. As soon as they put me into a ward they got in to see us. I hope your mum gets to go In with you as it’ll be so special 💕

I slept okay thanks @talis ,but the seagull was banging on the porch window at ten to six,so I had a bit of an early start.

Oh wow @Teigr Im Not a fan of seagulls, they come in to land every winter, we have loads here on the field, so when I go drs I have walk past about 30 of them.

I've never understood why, because the fishing boats still go out in winter etc.

@Lou67 Oh I see. An emergency c-section must have been scary. Thank you ❤️

My old house used to have a neighbour who had been feeding the same gull for years, the big fella would bang on their kitchen window twice a day for feeding.

I had a bird feeder suckered on my window for a while. I didn't get a sea gull, but I did attract a family of magpies tucking in. I had to take it down in the end because they all used to turn up at 5am to tap on my window if the feeder was empty!

They were cute and I miss their company, but I need my sleep! 😁

Birds are quite intelligent I wonder if they miss the cream off the top of the milk that they used to steal when the milk man had been. We still used that milk then I don't know if we would today

I tried a stick on bird feeder for my window. Turns out they can't take the weights of four pigeons. I was hoping to attract the jackdaws and finches, but noooo, the big oafs had to ruin everyone's fun. 😪

It's the same one all the time @Sandy_123 ,he's been coming to us for years.

I hung a towel out the window once to stop him,so he started banging on one of the kitchen windows. When I closed the blind he hopped down onto the deck, waddled over to the conservatory and hammered on the door.

Its crazy isn't it, a friend of mine was dive bombed by a bird in her garden every time she went out. They can be a bit aggressive sometimes. I don't like gulls they are massive and loud.

I don't encourage them personally I do have a raspberry bush in the garden they help themselves to the berries

To be honest I don’t really remember much about it as I had been in labour from early Christmas morning and they tried everything until about 9.30 christmas night, they decided I needed a section. By that time I was falling asleep as I had a LOT off pain relief lol

It all started when we had a mirror on the wall opposite the porch,a seagull saw it's reflection and I think it assumed it was another bird.

I'd imagine it thought the 'other' bird was hanging around because it had found a food source and it started banging on the window in an attempt to get to it.
