Housing benefit advice

Hi I'm new to this group.I wonder if anybody could help me please,

My Son has just graduated and now he has to pay Council tax he has a 10 hours a week but sometime gets overtime Would this effect my housing benefits The benefits I receive are universal credits,lcwra,pip Standard rate for both, thanks

    It will be housing element of UC you are claiming and not housing benefit. There will be no non dependent deductions for UC because your PIP includes the daily living part.

    As he’s no longer a student then he will not be disregarded for council tax. If you are the only 2 adults in the house then you will lose the single person discount. I can’t give any further advice about council tax because all local Authorities are different.

    No, LCWRA is because you have a limited capability for work and is part of UC. Non of your UC is affected by your son living with you.
