Ive heard recently that you can backdate your means tested benefits to when your pip was awarded my award was in 2016 I've been on UC since 2022 can I backdated my UC to when my pip was awarded?

No, you can't backdate your UC to a time before your claim actually started. Unfortunately, that's not how it works. PIP and UC are two completely different benefits and one doesn't automatically entitle you to the other.
There's no means tested benefits that could ever be backdated that far.
