Hi everybody,
Does anyone know whether it legal to have no place to washing or toilet, I also have no privacy at all. My bed is in the back of the through lounge and I have living like this for five years now. My carers do their best to keep my dignity. Social Services have drawn up plans to build ground floor extension with a wet room and a toilet, unfortunately they want me to put £20.000 towards the cost and I haven't got that kind of money. Can anybody advise me what to do,

Hi @martie11 have you seen the Disabled Facilities Grant? The grant helps you adapt your home to make it suitable for a disabled person, it might be worth looking in to.

Random but try "be on a show" things at BBC, C4, ITV. Occasionally...!!!Autistic mother (they/them) not Autism Mom
